Audrey is a psychotherapist who developed symptoms of
Crohn's disease at the age of 16. The book is a very
personal account of her story, the many challenges that she
faced and how she tackled and overcame these to graduate
with a Masters degree.
Some of the book contains excerpts from her "Ask Audrey"
column which was a feature of CCFA newsletters. These are
real questions from IBD patients which have been answered by
Audrey in this forum, including relationship, emotional and
practical issues. Very informative and easy to read.
